We have the same issue.
It actually occurs when the "customer" or any partner with "Portal" rights
opens a document like Quotes, Ordes or Invoices.
The messages goes away when you clic on the OK button and you have acces to the
document.
I have tried to change the access rights to the "Partner" object for the
Group "Portal" but no chance.
My guess is that it comes from the access/filter rule for the "Portal" group:
Rule "res_partner: read access on my partner" with rule definition
[('user_ids', 'in', user.id)]
