Hello, Actually this parameter can be found in the user preferences; it has not been added on the partner form view. The merge proposal will have to do this, to be able to change this parameter for a partner, not only for users changing their own parameter.

But sometimes we don't want automatique email ! opt_out option is made for that !. - Check opt_out on one of customer - Create an invoice for this customer. - Validate it and OpenERP automagically add customer as follower and send en notification (invite) to him !! Think it is a very intrusive way to do that and it is not possible to disable/enable this feature to only fiew customer. Think it's very dangerous. Compagnies should not what is send and how to disable this. uninstall portal_sale is'nt a solution. We need portal, but need to communicate with customer the right way, not the spam way. see video.
