Public bug reported: If you want to change the unit (uom) of a product or create a duplicate of a product but with a different unit then the system will not allow it. The error message says that the solution is to create a new product but duplication is a normal means of creating a new product.
Solution: Allow changing of units when a product is a newly created duplicate. Reproduce: 1) http://7-0-31679-all.runbot.openerp.com/ 2) (Enable different units) Settings > Sales > Allow using different units of measures 3) Menu: Sales > Products > USB adapter 4) Menu: More > Duplicate 5) Change unit to Liters. 6) Error: "Unit of Measure categories Mismatch! New Unit of Measure 'Liter(s)' must belong to same Unit of Measure category 'Unit' as of old Unit of Measure 'Unit(s)'.
