Um, no.   JPEG and TIFF each have tags that allow you to embed an ICC profile 
(which can specify anything about the colorspace of the document).
They do not have explicit tags saying 'sRGB' or "Linear" (unless you count EXIF 
extensions, that allows for "sRGB, AdobeRGB, and unknown" and none of those are 
linear).
