No, there are several quantities that we want to track. A time stamp is just
one that can't fit into 32 bits. The others probably fit into 32 bits for the
near future, but it would be wise to allow for 64-bit integers just in case.
Looking at how IntAttribute, DoubleAttribute, etc., are implemented, it seems
like an easy addition, and I think it would be useful to others.
