Probably best discussed off board but we use CTL as the reference 
implementation for ACES.  Unfortunately, we don’t have a good resource to 
validate the pull requests hence the delay in getting them integrated.

Thanks.  I am aware of that.  However, no activity seems to happen there.  All 
my patches did not get included in the past years (this includes a patch from 
Florian Kanz to deal with floating point numbers without locale issues and 
finding "main" as the main entry point for ctl scripts, as it was before).  And 
now I read that support for CTL as a C library to include in viewers has been 
dropped, which is exactly what I use CTL for.  My problem is that CTL crashes 
on SIMD code when running it thru ImfApplyTransforms.cpp on Ubuntu 18.04, but 
it works fine on Ubuntu 14.04.

P.S.  I dont own a mac.
