Hi Sergei,
I've tried, but I canʼnot reproduce the crash here. Would you mind
running this in a debugger and sending me a stack trace of the crash?
Also, if you have valgrind available, please comment out as much of
the code in directory IlmImfFuzzTest as you can without making the
crash go away. Then run the fuzz test under valgrind and send me
the output.

Hello All,
I built openexr-1.6.1 in the framework of my AppsFromScratch - before that
zlib-1.2.3 and ilmbase-1.0.1 had been built without problems.
'configure' for openexr-1.6.1 was run using this command line:
cd /maxtor5/sergei/AppsFromScratchWD/build/openexr-1.6.1;
PATH=/maxtor5/sergei/AppsFromScratchWD/install/pkg-config-0.21/bin:/opt/kde3/bin:/home/sergei/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/bin:/usr/games:/opt/gnome/bin:/usr/lib/mit/bin:/usr/lib/mit/sbin:/home/sergei/bin;
export PATH;
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/maxtor5/sergei/AppsFromScratchWD/install/ilmbase-1.0.1/lib:/maxtor5/sergei/AppsFromScratchWD/install/zlib-1.2.3/lib;

-I/maxtor5/sergei/AppsFromScratchWD/install/zlib-1.2.3/include'; export CPPFLAGS; ./configure
--prefix=/maxtor5/sergei/AppsFromScratchWD/install/openexr-1.6.1 --enable-imfexamples
--enable-imffuzztest 1>configure.log 2>&1
- no apparent problems whatsoever, the bottom lines of 'configure' screen
output were:
"

'make check', however, fails with these messages:

Any ideas ?
Thanks,
