I can’t see my shares on the network. I
can get to the openfiler box but the only thing listed is a “printers and
faxes” folder I have two shares set up, but neither appear when I browse
to the box. Both shares are currently set up for public guest access The box is fully updated. Is there something I’m
missing? I set up my openfiler box to join a Windows SBS Server 2003
domain called lrg.local Is it really necessary that I manually change the domain
entry on the accounts page from lrg.local to lrg after joining the
domain? If I don’t, the computer shows up in Microsoft Windows
Network as nas in the lrg.local group, rather than in lrg like the rest of the
domain computers. Shoudln’t openfiler make these changes itself,
and better yet, allow you to browse and select a domain so it fills in most of
the fields for you? |
