Hi Chris

        If you are using this for personal purposes, an authentication server
will be overkill. If you don't require username/password authentication,
you can run the shares in guest/public mode which'll permit access to
the shares to any machine on the added networks.

        If you do need to use authentication, you can simply install OpenLDAP
along with the front-end at: http://lam.sourceforge.net/ and create
users and groups on it.
