This is due to a change from LVM1 to LVM2 which doesn't make the
snapshot time available in the file's stat(). This one and bug #248 are
related. Please wait till we fix it.. you can add yourself to the CC

Please wait for #248 to get fixed as you'll only be able to use it after
that. You may need Microsoft's shadow copy client on the client
machines:

Like Openfiler! Do not like other things.

We thought about it, but it's a bad idea to do this due to possible
naming conflicts. We are not just going to do it "because Netapp does
it" or other companies for that matter as others seem to use this
approach too.

The read-only shares approach was decided by us to be the best method to
export shares within a snapshotted volume. This works nicely, there are
no conflicts and we have customers using this in large installations.
All the snapshot shares show up in the list of shares (which we think is
a good idea).

It would be arrogant of us to say one size fits all, but we don't really
like the subdir-of-share method.

My email client broke down and cried when it saw this.. :) nice play on
words.. on the other hand, I don't know why many companies insist on
adding legally useless junk to clutter otherwise meaningful emails.
