Got it,

When looking in the logs the service can not find the module iscsi_trgt. so i
manually tried to point to its with depmod and it still wouldn't take it how
ever on the console i got symbol errors. when checking what kernel i was
running i realized that it was defaulting to SMP as my dev box is a dual xeon.
So I booted of with the single processor kernel and the iscsi service starts
normally now.

Hi all,

I have tried the lower case issue and the restarting the service manually after
volume creation but nothing works, any ideas.

When I start the ISCSI service I see the following in massages.

May 8 14:42:40 nas-dev ietd: nl_open -1
May 8 14:42:40 nas-dev ietd: netlink fd
May 8 14:42:40 nas-dev ietd: : Connection refused
May 8 14:42:40 nas-dev iscsi-target: ietd startup failed

got any ideas everything else seems to work, i cant find any docs in the
release notes or the admin guides as it only deals with 1.1

Robin
