Folks:
I'm interested in seeing how fast I can get OF to serve files on my home
network. I have been using IOMeter to measure OF speed, and it looks like
I'm still way below the gigabit network limit. It looks like the drives I've
got are holding things up, so I was thinking I could mount a few small
Ramdisks and test performance to files served out of those. If nothing else
it will tell me if I need to get faster drives!
Creating the Ramdisk is no problem, but I'm not sure how to get /dev/ram0 to
show up in the Admin GUI. Does anyone know how to do this? Has anyone tried
anything like this before?
