Hi All

I've just stumbled upon openfiler and I must say it looks very nice. Most of my questions have already been answered by a search through the list archives (alas it doesn't look like working iSCSI snapshots are going to make 2.0).

My only remaining question is asked in this thread but never answered as far as I can tell

Whilst you can enter an email address how does the openfiler server know how/where to route that email too without also asking for an SMTP server? I haven't actually had a chance to try this and see if there is some magic I'm missing but as far as I can tell looking at sendmail.mc you would need to add something like

define('SMART_HOST','<your_mail_server>')

and then

run make -C /etc/mail

to get mail actually routing to a real mail server.

Thanks
Dave
