Hi I've just installed the rpath openfiler beta on a machine that has an Adaptec 29160 controller installed. The initial boot from cd for an install hung on the AICxxxx controller install. I did a noprobe install which worked and then failed when I rebooted and it got to 'initializing hardware'. I have the adaptec inatalled but not in use so I removed that and did a clean re-install which worked fine.
I also have a 3ware 9000 series raid in this system plus an MSI video card if that's relevant. I'm still new to linux so if there's anything I've missed or you want me to try, let me know.
