Hi,

I wanted to share with the group an article that I authored and have
published (temporarily) on my personal web site:

"Building an Inexpensive Oracle10g Release 2 RAC on Linux - (RHEL 4.4 /
iSCSI)"

http://www.idevelopment.info/data/Oracle/DBA_tips/Oracle10gRAC/CLUSTER_11.shtml

This article will be moved to Oracle's Technology web site in early
November (otn.oracle.com) after additional testing has been completed.

I welcome any comments or suggestions before providing the final version
to Oracle.

The Openfiler 2.1 x86 (Final) platform has been *extremely* stable during
the creation of this article.

One question though:

Note that in the section "Install Openfiler", I include a link to the
exact release of Openfiler I used for the article - Openfiler 2.1 x86
(Final). Will this exact release remain available at the provided link (at
sourceforge.net) or will it be be overwritten by future releases? I would
ask that this exact release remain available to users as it is stable and
what I wrote and tested the article with. I don't expect it to remain
available forever, but for a reasonable time (and not overwritten by a
future beta release) so users have a known release that works with the
article.

Best Regards,
