hELLO EVERYBODY;
some questions about openfiler...
1. Are all packages required for use as SAMBA PDC included?
If not does someone know which are missing? Are the tools for
compiling sources of missing packages included?
If not, may I compile for openfiler on any other RED HAT system?
2. Local auth against ldap, may I use TLS and certs? Is it already
possible. Or is something missing?
3. Arabic: We have a lot of files with arabic filenames, I experinced
problems copying them to openfiler. I removed
"doscharset" in smb.conf. -> Over CIFS the files and names are
written correctly, although the machine needs 10 times cpu power as
with westerncharacter filenames. Any hints?
PROFTPD seems not to be able to handle arabic filenames at all, am I
wrong? Or maybe there is an issue with the underlying filesystem?
EXT3 should be able to handle that...
