I need help with authentication with Openfiler. I am quite new to this and would like to setup a NAS in my home office.

I've installed Openfiler 2.2.r1166. It seems to have been successful since I can access it via a browser on the local network. I've also:
- created a raid array with a volume of 50Gb
- shared the volume and even created a test folder in that share
- a guest quota equal to that (hoping to allow anyone access
- enabled SMB since I am working on a Windows XP network
- renamed the SMB NetBIOS to openfiler because I read the default name might be too long
also tried the homes volume both with my share and disabled

Now I've been working with trial and error to get authentication to allow me access but I can't. I dont' have a separate authentication server.

When I try to access I get the Windows error, "\\Openfiler is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource... Configuration information could not be read from the domain controller...".

What can I do to gain access from my Windows machine to my shared folders?
