Can anyone tell me why the boot loader screen wouldn't come in during the graphical install for 2.2?
I've got a system im installing openfiler on. One disk that openfiler is going on, another disk with an existing install of XP. Im wanting to install and configure grub but the screen I've seen appear in older versions of openfiler does not appear. I've formatted the drive openfiler is going on a number of times, done a low level format etc. I've reset the MBR on the XP drive just in case something there is screwing something up but it still doesn't work. At the end of the install process I see a brief message saying "installing boot loader" but I haven't configured anything. Grub gets installed but without the details to see XP on the other drive. I'm no guru with the command line either so editing the grub.conf file with the correct settings is proving to be a problem for me.
