Quoting Kevin Waters <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

All,
I am looking to upgrading my current one node openfiler server into an HA server with at least two nodes. Currently, however, all of my storage is connected to the server via USB, SATA or IDE. So I am assuming that I will need a Network Storage device where both nodes can access simultaneously.

Isn't DRBD included in openfiler? If so, your storage can exist as it does currently.

I am contemplating purchasing a D-Link (DNS-323) 2-Bay Hard drive enclosure to start with and am curious if anyone has any thought/experience on the matter. Such as, will the openfiler software recognize this device on the network as a storage device. Or, are there any recommendations on another brand of Storage device?

First of all, I don't think you want to try to address a single point of failure by introducing one. Secondly, your storage technology needs to support clustering/high availability. USB does not support this.
I'd focus my efforts on DRBD + Openfiler + HA
