I personally didn't have any experience with the FC target mode driver and even after a week of head-pounding while trying to use those same instructions below, couldn't get it to work. I finally pulled the rip cord... Rafiu was nice enough to remote into the box and find the prob and according to him, after his changes, FC target mode was working (this was on a 4Gbps Qlogic HBA.)
Unfortunately that was only hours before the NAS gateway I had for setup/testing got deployed to production so I had futzed away my window of opportunity trying to get the thing to work. I never even got to see if the NAS gateway could discover the OF-presented LUNs. Of course, in theory it should work ;) I'll see if I can try and find the changes that were required. I certainly don't remember but I did keep that boot drive lying around in case I had another opp to test it... It just hasn't happened.
