Hi,

I would suggest narrowing down the situation.
1.
You mentioned you went through the instruction.
Have you also done the regression test?
If so and if it passed the test, your NetFPGA OpenFlow switch is good (both hardware and software).
2.
After checking above, can you point us on what stage of 'create OpenFlow network' instruction are you stuck?

Thank you,
Tatsuya

I followed these 2 guides to setup openflow on centos:
http://yuba.stanford.edu/foswiki/bin/view/OpenFlow/Deployment/HOWTO/LabSetup#3_Setup_OpenFlow_Switches_on_PCs
http://www.openflow.org/wk/index.php/CentOS_NetFPGA_Install
cpci_reprogram.pl and nf_download openflow_switch.bit run properly,

but when i create datapath using
ofdatapath --detach punix:/var/run/dp0 -d [mymacadd] -i nf2c0, nf2c1, nf2c2, nf2c3
i get ERR saying nf2c0 device has assigned IPv6 address ......
but i have disable ipv6 following steps in
http://www.openflow.org/wk/index.php/CentOS_NetFPGA_Install#Install_Regression_Suite

I can get connected with controller, but the controller's netapps e.g. pyswitch simply won't work. I plugin connect 2 machines with 1G ethernet card with netfpga on nf2c0 and nf2c1, alloc the address as 192.168.137.2 and 192.168.137.3, but i can not ping from either to the other.

My netfpga card works just fine when i download reference_nic and reference_router, i just cannot get openflow working.
Did i miss something?
Thank you!
