Hi All, I am new to Openflow and I have few questions/clarifications.
Lets assume there are some switches in sequence A-B-C. a) Is there a way for the controller to know which switch has how many rules installed ? using the openflow protocol ? b) some of these rules will cause some cpu utilization as they may require use of slow path. Is there a way to know the load on the openflow switch cpu using the openflow protocol ? c) how will the controller decide - how much degree of rule aggregation /or fine grained rules is practically good for the switch ?
