Hi Bob, I tried but could not resolve. So, at the end I tried to remove (delete) the Virtual machine that I created (deleted all files associated with it) and re-created another one and tried again with ifconfig. This time, I could get IP @ for two ethernets, but they are eth3 and eth4. I am glad the problem is sloved somehow but I still couldn't figure out what went wrong before.
Thanks, Daniel On Thu, Jun 16, 2011 at 12:31 AM, Bob Lantz <[email protected]> wrote: > Did you try the other suggestions from the tutorial page? > > On Jun 15, 2011, at 7:44 AM, Daniel Philip wrote: > > Hi all, > > I am trying to verify if I can connect from the host PC (laptop) to the > guest VM (OpenFlowTutorial) via SSH. > > Hence, when I type the command, "ifconfig", I do not see an IPv4 address > assigned to eth1 but there are IPv4 and IPv6 address assigned to eth0.
