Hi Yannan,

There is a possibility of accumulate a set of actions over a packet flow.
As it packet matches one flow entry per table, it becomes necessary to use more 
than one table for the processing pipeline, for example.

You might get better understanding reading the openflow-spec-v1.1.0. Specially, 
from the fifth page.

I want to know what are the purposes of having multiple tables in OF 1.1, and 
what are the target use cases of OF 1.1?
