Hi junlong, 1. you should update your mininet. 2. I didn't work with MiniEdit, but if you don't see a save button that means it is not possible to save your topology. for more mininet questions, you may ask in the mininet maillist!

I get started with MiniEdit from the following page: http://yuba.stanford.edu/foswiki/bin/view/OpenFlow/MininetMiniEditApp But when I press the "run" button, I get the error *** Removing openvswitch_mod*** Loading ofdatapath Error inserting ofdatapath - is it installed and available via modprobe?Error was: "FATAL: Module ofdatapath not found. "Failed to insert ofdatapath - quitting. The same error occurs when I enter the "sudo mn --switch=kernel". So I edit "mininet/net.py" (replacing "KernelSwitch" with "OVSKernelSwitch") to let MiniEdit work well. My question is, how can I get the module "ofdatapath"(like "openvswitch_mod.ko")? 2. After I create a usable network in the MiniEdit, how can I save the topology to a file (e.g. topo-2sw-2host.py)? Or, is there any other application for doing this? -- Best regards, :-) Junlong Peng _______________________________________________ openflow-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://mailman.stanford.edu/mailman/listinfo/openflow-discuss
