Hi,
I'm student interested in OpenFlow and I consider a subject for my
Master thesis.
I think a little about security which could be provided by OpenFlow
network, eg. simple firewalls, IDS/IPS or more complex like preventing
DoS attacks (like bgp blackholing). It could be connected with security
of OF by itself.
Another ideas are connected with High Availlibility which means "better"
versions of xSTP, VRRP, LAG, backup routes etc...
The last one is about optimizing IP multicast.
I'm not so familiar with OF to appraise
difficulty/complexity/possibilities/level of innovativeness of my ideas.
Please, give me advice, which one will be better, or propose your own ideas.
