hi, I am new to using NETFPGA and I have a few queries. I have installed a NETFPGA card and also compiled the OPENFLOW using --enable-hw-lib. I am able to ping two machine connected to this NETFPGA card and corresponding flows also in the flow table using the dpctl command.
I wanted to explore the internal functionality such as how the flow extraction is done, how the flow tables are populated. In short i would like to know which parts of openflow are handled by the hardware and which parts of it are handled by the software. I wanted to see what are the openflow stages a packet passes through when is being received on a port to sending to an output port. Is there a way to profile it or how do i begin looking at some monitoring steps.
