Hi, 0.8.9 is an old version - and there isn't any support for it. Besides that, the kernel module was discontinued after 0.8.9 - you will either have to implement it for 1.0 or tie all your setup (controller, etc) to 0.8.9. I wouldn't suggest any of these.
