The tutorial is designed to give you a better understanding of OpenFlow by 
having you write a simple controller in Python that implements a learning 
switch. I recommend that you read the OpenFlow white paper and the OpenFlow 
spec and also make sure to make the effort to actually complete the first 
portion of the tutorial where you implement a learning switch.

Specifics on configuring hardware or software switches to use OpenFlow can be 
found in the documentation for those systems.
