Hi all, I'm Basavesh, Computer Science and Engineering student form NITK Surathkal, Tier 1 engineering institution in India. I'm very much interested in SDN and using mininet and Floodlight controller for more than 8 months.
I'm interested in contributing to mininet open source project and I am applying to Open Networking Lab for GSOC 2013 and here are the list of project Ideas I'm interested in. 1) Automated creation of virtual network based on real network. 2) Additional parametrized topologies (fat tree, jellyfish, mesh, random etc.) bundled with easy controller support for multipath. I have also installed mininet cs244 branch, MPTCP and experimented MPTCP multipath routing with the help of floodlight controller. I did my third year summer internship in Cisco System India where I got know about SDN.
