Hi all, I have a small question on Control plane messages, I read about it alot in internet, but I am bit confused..
When we deploy the SDN usually, as I know, it is out-band control and we have a direct connection between controller and the switch.. Is this connection is based on IP addresses or MAC addresses are enough ?? (Does the switch should be layer 3 or is it enough to have a layer 2 switch) ?
