I have two Linksys switches which run Openwrt. I want to connect them to one
controller. The topology show as below.

C--S1---S2

Port A of S1 connects to C;
Port B of S1 connects to S2;
Port C of S2 connects to port B of S1;

I set up Port A,B,C in the same sub network and non-Openflow port ( I use
"outofband" mode). Both of S1 and S2 can connect to C.

But, from the topology of controller, there is no connection between S1 and
S2.
I have to use another cable connecting one Openflow port of S1 and another
Openflow port of S2.
That means I have to use two cables between S1 and S2, one cable between C and
S1.

My switches only have 5 ports... 3 of them are used for connection. It's not
good...

I know trunk port maybe work. But trunk port combines two switches to be one
big switches. It has some port number issue. I really don't like it.

Is there any good solution for this? or this is how it works in real world?

Thank you
