Dear OpenFlow/SDN fellows,

we have one PhD position open at our research group at the University
of Campinas (Brazil) for the upcoming semester. A post-doc position
may also be considered.

The scholarship (approx. 1500 USD/month) is guaranteed from the first
month (Aug/2014) and no tuition fees apply during the 4-year PhD
programme.

The research project is executed in collaboration with a large-size
international industry player. The research objectives are on SDN
scenarios (OpenFlow and beyond, inter-domain routing, Big Data & SDN)
and will leverage cutting-edge software and SDN and NFV technologies
(e.g., OpenDaylight, Hadoop, libfluid OpenFlow 1.3+, OpenStack, Intel
DPDK, etc.).

Some remarkable achievements of latest research activities include
RouteFlow, ofsoftswitch13, and the libfluid ONF driver.

Our research group counts now with over 10 regular PhD and MSc
students and welcomes international students from anywhere around the
world with motivation and good programming, computer, and networking
skills. Experience in OpenFlow, SDN, virtualization, and IP routing
will be favorable.
