Hi Aarti, You can pick any bug/feature you want to do, but make sure you clearly assign it to yourself as to avoid one of us fixing/implementing the bug/feature.
Have a look at http://ovx.onlab.us/development/ to familiarise yourself with our development processes and the tools we use. Unfortunately, ONOS is still a closed project. You can try to contact the onos team to see if they will let you in.
