Hello, Junaid, As far as I know, if you want to simulate a SDN switch, you should operate it in the standard way. i.e., feature exchange to set up the channel.
There is a tool named Cbench that can be used to controller performence test. You can check its code to see the details. i hole that would be useful for you.
