Hi Robert, Thanks! Does it mean that in ODL, the only way to get statistics from physical nodes is through the openflow protocol? I would expect a statistic-manager capable of collecting statistics from the different SB plug-ins. That statistic-manager would expose those numbers to applications abstracting the specifics of the SB protocols.
Thanks in advance, Manuel From: Robert Varga [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, January 18, 2016 4:47 PM To: Manuel Buil; [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: Re: [mdsal-dev] statistics-manager source code On 01/18/2016 04:36 PM, Manuel Buil wrote: Hi, I am trying to understand a bit better what is the architecture of the statistics-manager but unfortunately I cannot even find the source code. As far as I understood, it should be under the md-sal project (controller/opendaylight/md-sal), however If I go to the md-sal repository: https://github.com/opendaylight/controller/tree/master/opendaylight/md-sal I cannot find it. Googling also does not really help :(. Can you please point me to the source code of it? Statistics Manager is an OpenFlow-specific component and lives in openflowplugin repository. Bye. Robert
