I am not sure how the inter-process communication with Zk will play, with respect to performance.
I would suppose you can plugin your own EOS election strategy which would take a feedback from Zk. -Kamal From: <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> on behalf of Shirley Anend <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Date: Monday, April 18, 2016 at 4:01 AM To: "[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>" <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>>, "[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>" <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Subject: [controller-dev] Implementing Entity Ownership with different backend Hi, I have an environment where we use ZooKeeper for clusterwide-configuration, node-watching etc for other services. I wanted to try out implementing Entity Ownership Service with ZK as backend. I am aware that in case of OF-HA scenarios, the number of entities (switches) can cause a bloat in count of z-nodes and election process. Do you think that this is a good idea from design perspective ? -- Regards Shirley
