Hi Andrej, I have verified the lacp with the below mentioned patch. Now it is able to receive the node OFP master ownership change notifications. Thanks for the changes. However, singleton service is something like middle-layer for projects that used EOS. There are still entities for devices registered in EOS, but now by the means of singleton provider and not directly from OFP. As we observed there are changes in these entities, basically our entity type "openflow" turn into "org.opendaylight.mdsal.ServiceEntityType" and "ofTransaction" into "org.opendaylight.mdsal.AsyncServiceCloseEntityType". I introduced simple fix which could resolve your issue https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/#/c/44906. Could you please test it? Later on you can check also ClusterSingletonService from mdsal project. -al- ________________________________________ From: [email protected] <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, August 31, 2016 10:25 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [openflowplugin-dev] Openflow node entity master ownership registration not received in listeners Hi Openflowplugin-devs, The LACP feature depends on the openflowplugin's node master ownership for further processing of the node and registers for entityownershipservice to listen to openflowplugin's master ownership notification. With the current openflowplugin, when it becomes the master for any openflow node, the master ownership is not getting notified to the registered listeners. This causes an issue in LACP to not process the node as it does not receive master ownership notification. This issue is seen only from RC2 and works fine in RC1. I think the fixes for the bug 5596 (patch https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/44473/) avoids sending the ownership notification to the listeners. Can you please correct this issue or suggest any workaround where the listeners are able to obtain the notifications as this is blocker for us.
