Carbon, will pull it back to SR1 From: Alfasi, Shlomi [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, September 12, 2016 12:44 PM To: Shuva Jyoti Kar; [email protected] Subject: RE: statistics RPC's in boron
Hi Shuva, Thanks for the answer. Once I changed the flag, is it expected that RPC's will be available in runtime? As I mentioned in my mail things start working only after I restarted the ODL. Is your change going to be push to boron? What is the ETA for it? Thanks Shlomi From: Shuva Jyoti Kar [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, September 12, 2016 9:56 AM To: Alfasi, Shlomi <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>>; [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: RE: statistics RPC's in boron Hi Shlomi, Apologies for the delayed response. There is a way in which we can turn it on at runtime. Please refer to this chain: https://lists.opendaylight.org/pipermail/openflowplugin-dev/2016-August/005718.html However please be aware that after changing any configuration, the bundle will reload/restart. So please ensure that no switches are connected when you execute it. I am working on moving some of the configurable parameters to a config file . In the mean time I thing you can use this. It seems that there is a flag in openflowplugin-provider-config (is-statistics-rpc-enabled) that was added for backward compatibility. Once I change its value to true everything was working. The remaining issue is that this change is not taking affect in runtime which mean I need to restart the ODL after applying the change. I'm looking for the configuration file which will be edit/added in order to load with this flag set. I tried adding the flag in [1] & [2] but none of them was working. I have several issues and questions: 1) When invoking this RPC I get the error [1] which imply that the delegate was not set in this service. What is need to be done in order to make the service fully available? 2) This RPC marked as deprecated. What is the alternative? 3) My statistics-work-mode configuration is set to COLLECT_ALL but still I don't have any statistics information in opendaylight-inventory:nodes THX Shlomi [1] java.lang.IllegalAccessError: no delegate available - service is currently out of order at org.opendaylight.openflowplugin.impl.statistics.services.OpendaylightFlowStatisticsServiceImpl.getFlowStatisticsFromFlowTable(OpendaylightFlowStatisticsServiceImpl.java:159)
