I am able to put the required flows in the Config data store, but when I ping I expect that the controller (OpenFlowplugin) should put the required flows to the switches which is not happening (initially all flows in switches are deleted except flows which send all incoming packets to the controller) . Do all flows in the config data store move to the switches if there is no corresponding flow to process an incoming packet, or what exactly is the procedure for the same. Is it possible to get the incoming packet information into my application and put the flows from my application to the switches directly. Since I am new to OpenDaylight, I have these questions as I am not able to find material regarding the same on the internet. Thank you, Nithiin. Then there are actually two modules in applications [2] responsible for installing configuration from config/DS on device: forwardingrules-manager and forwardingrules-sync. In our wrapper feature *ofp-flow-services the first one is installed by default, but both of them exist as the separate feature and user can choose (you should choose only one). -al- [1] https://github.com/opendaylight/openflowplugin/tree/master/openflowplugin-impl/src/main/java/org/opendaylight/openflowplugin/impl/statistics [2] https://github.com/opendaylight/openflowplugin/tree/master/applications ________________________________________ From: Robert Varga <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Sent: Wednesday, August 31, 2016 10:30 AM To: NITHIN V; [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>; [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Re: [openflowplugin-dev] [OpenDaylight Discuss] Which module in Openflow plugin is responsible for getting switch information and putting flows to the switches [+openflowplugin-dev] On 08/31/2016 08:33 AM, NITHIN V wrote: > Hi all, > > For my project I am in need to know and change the way switch or network > information is obtained by the Openflow plugin project and which is the > module in the project that is responsible for inserting flows from > configurational data store to the switches.
