Hi folks,

The meetbot had crashed - hence we were not able to generate the IRC
meeting minutes. We discussed the following as per my memory:

1. OpenFlow Plugin/Java Model cleanup - there are several patches available
for review. The list is available on the spreadsheet: https://docs.
google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VblIzvsuf1V1FYadXib450V85xdQq
qTKlzBYxiAiYgs/edit#gid=0 . The spreadsheet contains the work items but
also the status of the work items in terms of patches. Tomas Slusny is
working on this task - but also available for anyone else to pick up if
interested. We hope this will be completed before M4 - and be able to be
tested well. That way, we can get it tested more by the projects before the
end of the release. Tomas will inform Luis when changes merged in - so Luis
can monitor the tests.

2. Split connection handler - Anil thinks that this is a major change and
hence needs to be reviewed carefully. He will work with Jozef & review the
code.

3. Auxiliary connections - this is an interesting topic for Nitrogen - but
very likely could be a can of worms. The key question is - how to make the
auxiliary connections available without the possibility of the apps
shooting themselves in the foot or worse. The original intent of the
auxiliary connections was to separate out the packet service channel
(packet-in & packet-out) from the other control connections like flow
programming etc. This way we could have the packet service channel a low
latency but less reliable using UDP (or may be DTLS to add some security).
Interestingly not many folks have been asking for auxiliary connections -
hence this is a low priority for now.

Please let me know if you think I missed any topic or have captured the
discussions incorrectly.

Regards,
Abhijit
