The current plan is to get the managed transaction runner into MD-SAL (in a form amenable to the mdsal committers), then it will be usable by everyone. I would like to get this done early in Neon (along with the migration from Controller’s broker to MD-SAL’s); I’ve already pushed a few preparatory patches to MD-SAL. Given the proximity of the Fluorine code freeze, there doesn’t seem to be much point in moving or copying the transaction runner to serviceutils at this time.
