We're trying to move to the implementation phase. We've had lots of discussion and we've reached consensus in many important areas already. In the Munich and San Francisco events, I tried to bring up these topics again and it sounded to me that we are pretty much in agreement in what we want and the constraints. I will post the minutes (anonymised) from the events. I should also point out that there are many topics where there wasn't much discussion. I tried to bring them up. I am assuming here that whatever we come up with will be ok by everyone... But moving to the implementation phase is hard. I'm trying to, but this is all on my shoulders at this point. The good thing is that open governance is blocking Qt 4.8. Qt 4.8 will not happen before we have moved onto this model, or rather, Qt 4.8 *is* modularisation and open governance (and Lighthouse). -- Thiago Macieira - thiago.macieira (AT) nokia.com Senior Product Manager - Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks Sandakerveien 116, NO-0402 Oslo, Norway
