Aaaaahaaaa now it rings the bell ... well ... src version and binary version (or pkg version) are 2 different things :)
You would avoid a LOT of issues by just downloading http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/opengrok/files/opengrok-0.6.1.tar.gz which only contains binaries (opengrok.jar, libs and source.war) :) (updating the install HOWTO and bolding up the "binaries" ) I am also quite surprised the file path CANNOT contain spaces ...
