Just some data points. Repository size: 25G Checked out size (including all those .svn directories, since it's subversion repository): Checked out size: 47G data is 7.9G, broken down by: 2.8G historycache 2.2G index 16M spellIndex 3.0G xref The reason data is probably not bigger is because there are lots of videos (sadly) in the repository.
