bin/OpenGrok index
I got some warnings like :
Warning could not identify file; invalid argument
Well, not much, Opengrok also produces logs, so you can try to look for
hints there (/var/opengrok/log)
it might be it will say that it's not able to run exctags or something
like that ... hmm?

Well, I miss the OS you use,
but exctags can be found here:
http://ctags.sourceforge.net/
e.g. on windows or solaris you need to build them, most linux distros
have them ...
PATH on windows is in %PATH% , in *nices in $PATH , su - username can
be used to switch to other user

Depends which language is it.
Not all languages are supported, but most common are (quick analyzer
look to see which are supported see:
