When reading the help it appears to be supported: Opengrok supports escaping special characters that are part of the query syntax. Current special characters are: + - && || ! ( ) { } [ ] ^ " ~ * ? : \
I don't think it is supported. At least I don't get it to work. Would it be appropriate to update the help to mention this?
