Hi Lubos,
Thanks a lot for your quick answer.
If I got it right- we need to follow this guide:
http://blog.mc-thias.org/?title=tomcat_ldap_authentication&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1
can you send us the link to the sso docs and tomcat docs? I couldn't find them.
In addition- It will be great if you can send us some example of protected Open
Grok.
I understand your point, but in commercial environment its hard to let everyone
access to your code :)
Thanks a lot for your help

Thanks

Hello
see http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=18242
on how to create sample ldap auth. , classic tomcat based user auth can be
quickly done too (e.g. using htaccess), see tomcat docs

also 0.11 has support for Oracle SSO solution, see SSO docs on how to set it up.

I still believe the code should be free and viewable by anoyne, but maybe I am
naive and these times are gone. Oh well ...

Hi,
We all working for Amdocs Ltd.
We need to check if it's possible to add Login screen with user name and passwd
to the Open Grok tool, so we can restrict users from performing the search and
track the entries to the tool, including:

* Is it possible to define one generic user in TomCat and configure
openGrok to ask for login details + pass the user/pass to tomcat?

* Can we have permissions sets for different users to allow access for
different source codes?

The issue is that in the current installation that we did there is no
security/restricted permissions for specific users. Meaning - everyone from
Amdocs can access the URL and perform the search on the Open Grok. Question is
- can we define users/permissions ? - the reason that we don't want every
Amdocs employee to access the search in the Open Grok is that it includes also
Core sources which should not be accessible to all.
Thanks in advance!
