You can certainly try to play with ignore option
also I vaguely remember that the indexer could (or was able?) index just
directories you mentioned to him as last on command line ... or maybe
this is a RFE, not sure now from top of my head
... if it's an RFE, I'd be happy if someone (you?) could get it
implemented, it could be very useful and it's not that hard to add to
the code

No, OpenGrok does not manipulate the repositories in any way, similarly
it does not perform the initial clone/bringover of the repository. This
has to be done by a dedicated script. On the other hand if the
repository is removed OpenGrok will notice (if -S / OPENGROK_SCAN_REPOS

We have projects maintained based on active branches. Once the branch is
released we need to stop the project repository from being scanned and possibly
Clean up the repository by removing the directory.
It is not possible to delete the entire repository and recreate and rescan as
scanning takes more than a day for us.
So, please suggest how to perform this cleanup activity.
