It looks like this is happening for all files in this project. Error comes up for the following URLs:

ok, so it's even worse, I originally thought just the search is affected
but this looks like xref is affected too

I think the trigger is " ~1.3 "
(where ~10 is above 1.x string wise so it seems like this might boil down to a lucene prob in search , but in xref it's definitely bug in opengrok)

so ... worth filing and please include the info from this mail
I will try to reproduce with current trunk (which has latest lucene, so search might be fixed just by the upgrade, but xref prob will still be there)

thank you
Lubos

But the following works fine:

http://popgrokapp01.msdwis.com:8080/source/xref/3dframework~10.0.0/3dframework/Src/DotNet/Web/fwkweb11/workframew/Other/Releases/3.6.0.0/Releases/3.6.0.0/Readme.txt

Thanks

Shailey

All our projects have been named in a similar way i.e. name appended with ~ and the version.

The error is showing up only for this one file.

Isn't that strange , given the reason you have stated for the error

Can you please paste the URL when the below problem occurs?
(so I can prove my point ;) )

thnx

Hi

I am getting the following error when I try to open one of the files returned in the search result in opengrok:

Cannot parse '/uddipub~1.3.0/uddipub/readme.txt': Minimum similarity for a FuzzyQuery has to be between 0.0f and 1.0f !

please file a bug for this
it seems "~1.3.0" is accidentally recognized as fuzzy search (which is obviously wrong and the char should have been escaped as per opengrok help)

thnx
L

Could you tell me what does this error mean?

Also, this error was displayed on the opengrok window but I did not find any reference to it in the logs.

Are there any switches that we need to enable to have such errors logged in the log files?

Thanks

Shailey
